Manuscript Submission

You are asked to submit the camera-ready 4-page manuscript (printed out on paper) for the proceedings and the
COPY RIGHT TRANSFER FORM to the Secretariat:

no later than June 30, 2008. We would also like to ask you to send the electronic file (PDF format) of your
4-page manuscript via e-mail to the Secretariat () by
June 30, 2008.
Please remind that the manuscript will be printed with black and white in the conference proceedings, yet it
will appear in color on the CD distributed both at the conference.

You should prepare your manuscript using IEEE PDF eXpressTM. The procedure to get the IEEE format of

the manuscript template and create PDF is as follows:

1. Create New Account
Visit IEEE PDF eXpressTM site (http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp).

Click "New Users - Click Here"

2. Download Manuscript Format File
Download the template "A4" (A4 page size format) from the left menu region "Article Templates".
3. Check PDF or Create PDF
Click "Create New Title".
Enter some characters to recognize your manuscript version.
Click "Submit File for Checking or Converting" to upload your manuscript.
4. Check E-mail from IEEE PDF eXpress Site Services
Results will be sent by e-mail you specified.
Session Registration

In order to ensure that the program runs smoothly, all speakers are requested to register at the session
registration desk and
contact their session chairpersons not later than 20 minutes before your session starts.
Please note speaker can register on the day of their session.


Orals Session

2. Audio-Visual Equipment
1)LCD projector (XGA, 1024 X 768 pixel) is available. An overhead projector is only for backup.
2)Clip-type microphones
3)Laser pointer

3. LCD Projector
Please note the followings
1)You are required to bring your own PC. D-sub<15pin> connector is standard and other connectors
  such as USB will NOT be accepted.

2)You are required to test your PC before your session at the session registration desk to assure that it
  works. Session registration desk will be open as follows in each session room (Hakone higashi or Hakone
 naka)

Tuesday, September 9 9:00-17:30
Wednesday, September 10 9:30-16:00
Thursday, September 11 9:00-16:00

3)In case your PC does not work, we would like to suggest bringing overhead transparencies of your
   presentation as a backup.

4)You should connect your PC to the LCD Projector during the break before your session and operate your
   PC by yourself.
5)A/C 100 volts power A-TYPE with no earth rod plug can be connected for your PC.

Poster Session

1)Poster presenters can set up their posters as follows:
         Room:                   CONVENTION HALL [HAKONE(higashi)], Yumoto Fujiya Hotel (2F)
         Setup Time:           13:30-15:00, Wednesday, September 10
         Poster Session:      16:30-18:30, Wednesday, September 10
         Board Size:           180cm (H) x 90cm (W)

2)Each poster should be labeled at the top with the title, the name of the authors and the name of the
   institution where the research was carried out. Please note that the poster board should be cleared away
 within 30 minutes after the end of the session.

Proceedeings

All contributions to the conference, both oral and poster presentation, will be published in the proceedings
of extended abstracts. One copy of the proceedings is covered by the registration fee and will be available at
the registration desk.
